Tips for Your Application

How should I apply to Hafner? Online, via post or email?

Preferably apply online via the HAFNER job portal. This way, we can process your application a lot faster than applications sent by post.

Which documents do I need for applying?

In order to avoid further inquiries as far as possible, you should send us your complete application documents. This includes cover letter, curriculum vitae, employment certificates, as well as all relevant school and college certificates and the last three certificate copies in case of pupils. The files can be directly uploaded in the job portal.

Which file formats can be uploaded?

Generally all the common file formats can be uploaded, e.g. PDF files, text files (e.g. *.doc, *.txt, *.odt) or graphic files (e.g. *.jpg, *.tif)
IMPORTANT: When uploading make sure that the file names do not contain the letters ä, ö, ü or ß. If necessary, rename the documents.

Which file size can be uploaded?

Maximum file size per document is 8 MB.

How can additional documents be uploaded?

If you have forgotten important attachments when applying online, you will receive an access link in order to be able to upload additional documents.

How does the application process or the selection procedure take place at HAFNER?

After we receive your application, we will send a first notification to you. Our human resources department will then view your application and, if suitable, will send it to the  department concerned. The next steps of the selection procedure depend on the job advertised. If suitable, a classic job interview and possibly also a second one are scheduled.
